This originally started out as an assignment for a 2.0 course that I was taking through the BRLS and was called "Boston Librarian Discovers 2.0." However, I am hoping to use it to document my thoughts and "discoveries" regarding libraries and librarianship in general.

Hi Amanda. I'm another student in the 26.2 class. I looked at your project and think it is really innovative. That you can click on those book links and see availability and take out the book, WOW! Great idea.
What led you to think this was a direction to go in?
Have you found many students and teachers using this new format?
Hello, Amanda. Thank you for joining us, and for giving me an example to use for the Flickr Thing we'll be doing in Week 4. ;^) I second Ms Readalot's question: What has the response been to using Flickr in this way?
Thank you for your comments! We actually got the idea from Emerson College (http://www.flickr.com/photos/emersonreference), who shared their experiences at an FLC staff development day. Although I have been working on it for a few months, we only really implemented it at the beginning of the semester. So far we have been getting views on the mosaics, and one Emmanuel student has made us one of her Flickr contacts (which was exciting!). Hopefully I will have some more feedback throughout the semester that I can share.
Hi Amanda. This is such a treat. I've never used Flickr but I can tell your project is unique.
